String Guide
What string should I choose?
There are many different types of string to choose from. When searching for string on the website, all products have more information about them which will help you decide. Every string provides a different feeling and provides different benefits to your game.

Tennis
Monofilament String - Made up of Polyesters and Co-Polyesters - Offers control and spin to players
Multifilament String - Made up of hundreds of micro fibres - Offers a soft feel with plenty off power

Synthetic Gut String - Made of nylon and a good cheaper alternative to Natural Gut

Natural Gut - Added control and power and very comfortable to play with

What tension should I get my racket strung at?
String tension depends on how you play and the level you play at. Each racket has a recommended stringing tension that the manufacturer advises. Stringing above this tension may make the warranty invalid.

Lower tension - More Power, More Comfort, More Durable

Higher tension - Less Power, More Feel/Control, Less Durable

Badminton
20 lbs - 24 lbs = low tension
24 lbs - 28 lbs = high tension
28 lbs - 32 lbs = professional standard tension

Tennis
50 lbs - 54 lbs = low tension
54 lbs - 60 lbs = high tension
60 lbs - 65 lbs = professional standard tension
